Safiria is derived from the popular Swahili word “Safari” which means an adventure, or simply, a journey. Safiria therefore invites you to make a journey to the wonderful land of East Africa! The Safiria website enables both East African residents as well as tourists from abroad to learn more about the three East African countries of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, what they offer, but more importantly, the website assists in planning for a holiday or business Safari in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania).
Safiria is an ongoing initiative to market East Africa as a tourism/holiday getaway and business destination. Its objective is, therefore, to provide the requisite information on East Africa to potential holiday makers and businessmen/women. Safiria also uses the internet technology as the main medium of attaining this objective by offering tools for searching hotels and flights. It also works with hotels and travel agents to enable them utilise effective computer tools to ensure that your reservations and adventures are executed smoothly to give you everlasting memories of East Africa.
